Tuley Law/Military Sexual Trauma (MST)
Military Sexual Trauma (MST) refers to sexual assault or repeated, threatening sexual harassment experienced during military service. It includes any sexual activity that a service member was involved in against their will, as well as sexual experiences that occurred due to an inability to consent.
The trauma associated with MST can lead to long-term mental and physical health issues. The VA provides free counseling and services to veterans suffering from mental and physical health conditions related to MST. Veterans do not need a verified MST experience or disability rating to receive MST services.
